Just now, the TGA 2024 awards ceremony officially came to an end. The much-anticipated Black Myth Goku regrettably missed out on the Game of the Year award after winning Best Action Game Voice of the Player.

The best award of the year went to Sony’s Cosmic Robo, a somewhat surprising result.

At a time when the TGA is making its first large-scale appearance on China’s major social media outlets, throwing olive branches to Chinese gamers in a friendly way, and needing to prove its objective gold content, the TGA still pulled off a big one.

This year’s TGA is not short of ridiculous drama, on the one side of the businessman’s breath when selling the play including the domestic big manufacturers of promotional podcasts. The other side contributed to the best hand game awards skipped the song tide and absolute area zero awarded to the clown card choice. After eating clean, chose to play the highest traffic as a way to prove their own unique taste.

But judging from the overall distribution of the awards, the air wall set up for Chinese games still exists, and the nominated Chinese games did not get results that match their competitiveness, as if they wanted to prove that everyone is drunk and the TGA is awake alone.

Even so, the fact that Chinese game creation is at the forefront of the world, and that more and more gamers around the world are seeing it, is something that the TGA can’t trip over.
