Twin Shadows Wonderland adds another divine egg, perfectly reproducing the old man’s ring round table hall, triggering players to talk about it.

In the meta-universe adventure game Twin Shadows, the developers have once again demonstrated the depth of their gaming culture. In a post on the Reddit forums today, gamer EldenRingLover posted a comparison screenshot revealing that a mysterious scene in the game is an exact replica of the Round Table, the central hub of Elden’s Ring. This homage not only made FromSoftware fans smile, but also took the game’s interdimensional dialog to new heights.

In the hidden area of the third chapter of Twin Shadows, Zoe enters a circular hall suspended in the void. The stone table in the center of the room is filled with glowing swords, similar to the blessing device that guided the Fade in Elden’s Circle. The giant stone statues that surround the scene are blurry, but their armor and proportions are an exact replica of the two-fingered statue in the Round Table. The most striking aspect of the lighting design is that when the player touches the stone table, the clusters of swords explode into golden ripples, identical to the special effect that occurs when the original Blessing is activated.

This highly restored homage is not alone. Previously, players have found eggs in the game such as Assassin’s Creed’s Leap of Faith and Sonic’s Emerald Forest track. The team said in an interview that we want to create a museum of games for players, and each egg is a conversation with a classic. The designer of the Elden’s Circle egg even commented in the comments section that while Zoe was working on her novel, she did spend 200 hours in Junction, which is probably why the memory palace is so real.

This discovery quickly led to a wave of secondary creations. Some players used Blender to rebuild a comparison model of the two scenes, and the data showed that the error in the diameter of the stone table was only 0.8cm Art enthusiasts made a comparison of the normal mapping of the stone statue, which confirmed that the reflectivity curves of the two materials were highly consistent. Some players have even had a brainstorm and speculated that this could be a hint of the linkage between Twin Shadows and Elden’s Ring, and that we might be able to meet Melina here in a future update.

This phenomenal egg reflects a new trend in contemporary game creation. By deconstructing classic scenarios and giving them new narrative meaning, Twin Shadow Wonderland is building its own meta-game universe. As game critics have said, when Twin Shadow Wonderland incorporates the Round Table into the Memory Palace, it’s not just paying homage to a game, it’s paying homage to the entire history of video game art. The production team has yet to release any more details about the egg, but it’s safe to assume that this lovingly crafted replica will be a new talking point for the Twin Shadow Wonderland player community. For game enthusiasts, finding these cross-temporal connection codes in the virtual world may be one of the most romantic narratives in video games.
