The Three Kingdoms 4 Family Generals of Gongsun Zan

At the end of the Han Dynasty, General Gongsun Zan raised an elite cavalry of good archers, known as the White Horse Cavalry. With this cavalry, he rode across Hebei for many years, and his bravery and skill at archery made him so powerful that Wuhuan, Xiongnu, Xianbei, and other hordes didn’t dare to come south to attack the border. Before the Battle of Jieqiao, Gongsun Zan rapidly expanded his elite cavalry, the White Horse Guards, to 5,000 or 6,000 men, with many of his family generals joining them.

In the game of Three Kingdoms, four of Gongsun Zan’s family generals have appeared on the scene, serving the forces to which they belong.

Let’s take a look at these 4 family generals!

1 Gongsun Zan

Gongsun Zan 152 199 , courtesy name Bo Gui, was a famous general at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, one of the late Han Dynasty. He was handsome and witty, and was known for his toughness against the nomads in the north. Gongsun Zan fought bravely, so that the Wuhuan, Huns, Xiongnu, Xianbei and other hu people did not dare to attack southward easily.

He killed Liu Yu, the governor of You Prefecture, who had been treating the hu people in a soft and gentle manner, and gained an advantage over Yuan Shao in the early days of the war. However, after the Battle of Jieqiao and the Battle of Longmin, Gongsun Zan adopted a strategy of self-preservation and eventually set himself on fire at Yijing.

In the game, Gongsun Zan is a weak first-class general with a sum of 167. All of his TM values are in the 80s, which is consistent with his many defeats of the Hu people and his great exploits beyond the borders of China. Cavalry Aptitude S, combined with the special skill White Horse, will strike hard when attacking the enemy team. The Crossbow Soldier, with an aptitude of A, can also be of great use.

2 Gongsun Fan

Gongsun Fan 158 199 is the younger brother of Gongsun Zan, a famous general in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Due to the death of his younger brother, Gongsun Yue, when Gongsun Zan planned to attack Yuan Shao, Yuan Shao was afraid of Gongsun Zan’s strong army and gave the seal of the governor of Bohai to Gongsun Fan to beg for peace. As a result, Gongsun Fan used all of his troops from Bohai to help Gongsun Zan, and then lost the Battle of Jieqiao together with Gongsun Zan.

In the game, Gongsun Fan’s sum of command is 142, which belongs to the third-rate generals. He has a statistic value of 73, which is in line with his deeds of commanding the White Horse Guards. His Cavalry Suitability is S, which applies to the special skill White Horse.

3 Gongsun Yue

Gong Sun Yue 160 192 , the younger brother of Gong Sun Zan, a famous general in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. He was ordered to lead more than 1,000 cavalry to Nanyang to persuade Yuan Shu to seize Liu He and take away the troops sent by Liu Yu. Later, he was sent by Yuan Shu to attack Zhou Ang, a subordinate of Yuan Shao, together with Sun Jian, and was killed by a stray bullet. As a result, Gongsun Zan resented Yuan Shao and started the Battle of Boundary Bridge.

In the game, Gongsun Yue’s sum of unity and martial arts is 146, which belongs to the third-rate military generals. His stats are 74, which is in line with his leadership of the White Horse Guards. His Cavalry Suitability is S, which applies to the special skill White Horse.

4 Gongsun Xu

Gongsun Xu 176 199 , son of Gongsun Zan, a famous general in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. When Gongsun Zan was besieged by Yuan Shao’s army in Yi Jing, he sent Gongsun Xu to break through the siege to ask for help from Zhang Yan of the Black Mountain Army and other commanders. When help was about to arrive at Yijing, Gongsun Zan’s letter of agreement to light a fire as a signal was captured by Yuan’s army and he was again defeated and set himself on fire, and Gongsun Xu was later killed by Tu Ge.

In the game, the sum of Gongsun Xu’s stats is 131, which belongs to the weak third-rate generals. His cavalry aptitude is S, which applies to the special skill White Horse.

Apart from Gongsun Zan’s family generals, Gongsun Fan, Gongsun Yue and Gongsun Xu don’t have much chance to show their strengths and are all third-rate generals. Gongsun Zan was a famous general who became famous in the early days of his career, and his cavalry was a powerful force in the region.

However, due to a series of mistakes, Gongsun Zan gradually lost the battle with Yuan Shao, the governor of Hebei Province, and the hero was burned in battle.

In the Three Kingdoms game, have you used Gongsun Zan forces to unify the world? Which ones are underestimated?
