Wrath of the Lich King nostalgia service The Call of the Northern Expedition version will be online on January 16th!

The details of this update are as follows

01 New team copies: Trials of the Crusaders and Trials of the Great Crusade.

This content will be unlocked on January 16th at 7am BST.

Teams of 10 and 25 players will face five boss battles in Trial of the Crusader and Trial of the Grand Crusader on Normal and Heroic difficulty. Normal difficulty will be available at the start of the team replicas, and Heroic difficulty will be unlocked in due course.

10-player and 25-player team copies have separate progress locks that do not affect each other.

Adjusted the loot drops for the 25-player normal difficulty Crusade.

Leader drops have been upgraded to 252 item level for a total of 25 pieces of equipment in 25-player Normal mode. Each Chieftain has a list of 5 alternatives, each of which must drop a 252 item level piece of equipment.

The final leader, Anubarak, has 5 additional 258 level cloak options, each of which must drop an additional 258 item level cloak.

Item drops that have not been upgraded remain unchanged.

02 New Team Replicas Trials of the Crusaders and Trials of the Grand Crusader

This content will go live on January 16th at 7:00am BST.

Onyxia’s Lair has been updated to level 80.

You can access the level 60 version of Onyxia’s Lair by talking to Sidorme next to the Onyxia’s Lair Gathering Stone. Talk to Sidorme again to return to the level 80 version.

03 Alcavon’s Vault New Leader

Flame Watcher Korallon will open on January 23rd at 7:00am.

01 Silver Tournament

The Silver Tournament is located north of Sindagosa’s Tomb on the Icecrown Glacier. Here you can take on new quests and earn new rewards.

02 Titan Rune Dungeon Defense Protocol Beta

Rune of Titan Dungeon Defense Pact Beta is now available on a new difficulty. Rune of Titan Dungeon Defense Protocol Beta.

To open the Defense Protocol Beta, the team must interact with the mysterious device at the entrance to the Heroic Dungeon and select the Defense Protocol Beta from the conversation options. All 5 members of the party will need to guide the device until the spell bar completes, after which the Defense Pact Beta will be activated.

Once activated, the monsters and leaders in the dungeon will gain a variety of dangerous new effects, as well as increased life and damage.

Chieftains on Defense Protocol Beta difficulty will drop 10-player Normal Mode O’Doul’s equipment.

The final leader of each Defense Agreement Beta will drop the new currency, Sedrill Essence. You can exchange Sedrill Essence for the 10-player Hard Mode Odur bonus item at the Revitalized Constellation Merchant in your side’s area of Dalaran.

03 PvP

The new PvP Season 7 of Wrath of the Lich King starts on January 16th at 7:00 AM, so get ready to take on all challengers!

04 O’Doul’s Team Replica

After defeating Kronjarn, all enemies in the area around General Vyzax will immediately appear.

Based on the number of Titan Guardians assisting you, Yogg Sauron will now drop an additional Shard of Varanel.

Shards of Valanair

When unassisted by a Guardian, Yogg Sauron will always drop 3 Shards of Valanair.

When assisted by a Guardian, Yogg Saron must drop 2 Shards of Valanair.

When assisted by at least 2 Guardians, Yog Saron still drops 1 Shard of Valanair.

Olgallon the Watcher must now drop 2 Shards of Valanair.

The time limit of 1 hour to defeat Olgallon the Watcher has been removed.

With the opening of Crusader’s Trials, the Odur item drop mechanics have been adjusted as follows

10-player Normal Mode Odur equipment has been changed to drop at the Titan Rune Dungeon Defense Protocol Beta Difficulty Leader.

25-player Normal Mode O’Doul’s equipment has been changed to drop from 10-player Normal Mode O’Doul’s.

10-player Hard Mode O’Doul’s equipment still drops on 10-player Hard Mode O’Doul’s.

25-player Hard Mode O’Doul’s gear still only drops on 25-player Hard Mode O’Doul.

05 General

Changes made in the previous version of Secrets of Odur will remain in place in this new version. Participating in the following duplicates through the Team Finder will reward you with 2 Herald of Conquests

Random Lich King Titan Rune Protocol Beta Dungeon

Random Witch King Titan Rune Pact Alpha Dungeon

Random Lich King Hero Dungeon

Weekly team copy quests will now include Trials of the Crusader content

Quests now reward 10 Triumph Heraldry and 5 Conquest Heraldry.

Daily Dungeon Quest Updates

Death Proof Titan Rune Protocol Beta will now reward 3 Triumph Herald.

Death Proof Threat to Azeroth will reward 2 Triumphs.

A new Triumphant Herald merchant has been added to Dalaran.
