Warcraft’s official blue post says

Battle for the Center of the Earth Season 2 is under development, and the Epic Keystone Dungeon will receive a series of adjustments. We’d like to take this opportunity to share with you the direction of the Epic Keystone Dungeon changes in Andromeda.

During Season 1, the development team received a great deal of feedback on the Epic Dungeons, mainly focusing on the pain points that players encountered during gameplay, especially the experience of grouping up in a wild party. We are aware of a number of issues, including

Players needing to deal with too many game mechanics at once

Penalties for mistakes are too harsh

Challenges are too difficult with relatively few rewards

Players form a fixed mainstream configuration when tackling challenges, resulting in a poor teaming experience.

As the Season 2 launch date approaches, we have attempted the following changes to address the mechanic

Significantly lengthen the casting time of deadly enemy spells

Reduced burst damage values for tanks and optimized visual warning cues

Reduced threat from normal enemy groups and other adjustments.

Previously, in the Siren Island content update, we made improvements to the reward system for Epic Keystone dungeons, such as lowering the penalty for failing to complete a dungeon within the time limit. However, these measures alone are not enough to fully address the issues that players have reported. We will be making more extensive adjustments to the Epic Dungeon progress system in Season 2.

Problem Root Cause and Direction of Adjustment

Many of the pain points that players have reported stem from the difficulty and reward progression not being smooth and balanced, especially the reward issue. The addition of Dungeon Fortresses has had a significant impact on the reward ecosystem after leveling. At the beginning of Season 1, after players upgraded their equipment through the Dungeon Castle, they found that there were the following problems with the rewards in the Epic Keystone Dungeon

Below level 7, it was difficult to get the desired rewards

Many players started the challenge directly from tier 7, but lacked the appropriate experience

2 Tier 6 Participants are scarce, making it difficult for new players to accumulate experience.

Season 2 Adjustments

To improve player experience, we plan to make the following adjustments

Basic Epic Dungeon Level 0

Each leader drops Warrior level equipment, but progress is locked on a weekly basis.

Enemy lifesteal and damage cranked up to make it a suitable starting point to kick off Season 2 gear acquisition.

2 Tier 10 Adjustments

Enemy life and damage per tier increased by 7 Formerly 10

From layer 11 onwards, each layer’s life value and damage bonus remains 10 .

Word Adjustment

Salatas’ Trade Rotation Lexicon moved from tier 2 to tier 4

Brutality and Toughness rotation cycle moved from Tier 4 to Tier 7, replacing Challenger’s Peril.

Challenger’s Peril will remain in effect at Tier 10.

At Tier 12, Saratas’s Cunning no longer provides a 10 life bonus to enemies, but instead includes a time of death penalty.

Reward Adjustments

Starting on Level 6, Heroic equipment can be dropped from chests on the way through the level

Starting from Level 7, you can get Gilt Crest.

Adjustments for High-end Players

Increased the rating score requirement for the Legend of the Keystone achievement from 2850 to 3000

Removed the link between achievements and the lower tier limit of high tier keystones.

After completing 12 tiers of all eight season dungeons, the keystone no longer automatically drops below 12 tiers.
