Blizzard has released the beta PTR for World of Warcraft 11 1 5 , 11 1 5 brings Nightfall Stirring Battles Vile Twins Frightening Visions and other campaign gameplay. And one useful feature not mentioned in the patch notes file for 11 1 5 is the free guild name change, which has been implemented on the PTR.
Prior to this, guild renaming could only be purchased through the in game mall for related services, and the price of 120 yuan for the national service was not cheap.
In version 11 1 5, guilds can now change their name once a year for free, consuming gold instead of RMB, with the cost deducted from the guild bank. In addition, there is a short recovery period after the name change, and the name change can be canceled within a certain period of time for a refund of gold coins.
The gold demand for name change is not yet clear, but it is certainly more cost-effective than the mall. Taking the U.S. service as an example, the mall guild name change requires 20 U.S. dollars, which is equivalent to almost 250,000 gold coins.
As with paid, free name changes have to be completed by a guild registrar anywhere.
