In the nostalgia service Wrath of the Lich King illusion system preview, the fourth rule mentioned that armor illusion need to keep the same type, there are a lot of doubts, in the official service to try a little, to the plate armor profession as an example, it’s probably like this

2 Even if a plate armor profession is wearing armor, it can’t be transformed into another piece of armor, and the other professions are the same.
The point is, look carefully.
3 Under normal circumstances, Plate Armor professions can’t transform into Plate Armor even if they’re wearing Lockjaw gear. But through the following tips, you can complete the illusion.
Ensure that you are wearing plate armor equipment, ask the illusionist to open the interface, select the desired plate armor illusion combination, and save it as an appearance plan, but don’t click Apply to open the character interface and replace some of the non-plate armor equipment, the new part will be displayed as not being able to be illuminated, but you can still choose to click Apply to apply the saved plan, and the system will force you to overwrite all of the illuminated parts.
